AIM:
Meetings take place at pre-arranged intervals, allowing caregivers the opportunity to receive information and advice from health care professional on a different topic each time, such as patients’ behavioural issues, non-pharmacological interventions, creative activities at home, methods to alleviate the strain on the caregiver, caring for the patient and more, and to exchange views with other caregivers and to decompress from their demanding schedule. During the groups, the caregivers (or relatives) have the opportunity to share thoughts, experiences and similarities with other caregivers.
The Program is operated within the framework of actions “Points of Support” in collaboration with theNetword of European Cities for Sustainable Development (EGTC) “Efxini Poli.”
