Cognitive intervention groups for caregivers
A form of group intervention in the span of 12 sessions, directed at caregivers to patients with dementia. The intervention is based mostly on the cognitive behavioural model.

Every Tuesday at 13:45-14:45
HOW:
On the caregiver’s initiative or on the recommendation of a health care professional at the Day Centre.

AIM:
The members of the group have the opportunity to receive information about dementia, to share their concerns and anxieties, to be coached on more effective ways of managing the symptoms of dementia and to learn how to care for themselves while caring for the patient.
