“Nestor” Psychogeriatric Association is inextricably linked to the community within which it operates, being effective and affected by today’s standards and the industry it operates in.
We are aware of our share of responsibility towards society and the environment. To respect the principals and values that colour our culture, respect towards people - dignity and equal opportunities, respect towards the environment and improving standards of living and quality of life. For this reason, we are constantly in search of new practices through which we can contribute to issues of social awareness and environmental protection.
“Nestor” Psychogeriatric Association is a constant supporter of initiatives aimed at fighting stigma concerning Dementia, the psychiatric issues faced by the elderly and the care of the elderly.
At “Nestor” Psychogeriatric Association we are actively working towards reducing our carbon footprint through our choices in stationary made from recycled materials, implementing a management plan towards paperless business and choosing environmentally-friendly cleaning products, while also using natural and/or environmentally-friendly materials in our Arts and Crafts and Occupational Therapy Groups.
