Care and Carry on Cafe

“...My husband was just diagnosed with Dementia. And now what?? What does this mean? How can I adjust my daily life? How can I arrange my future? How do I deal with any of the illness’s symptoms?...”

These and many more are the most common questions that people have when they are faced with the difficult task of caregiving, while observing their loved one’s changes in behaviour, their emotional reactions and any practical difficulties brought forward by this illness. The Springtime cycle of the Program “Care and Carry on Cafe,” re-ignites its Group Meeting in May. At the start of every meeting, Nestor’s expert healthcare professionals will present a topic regarding dementia and a discussion will follow, aiming to inform, support and attempt to relieve the participants’ strain of caregiving.
