At the regular outpatient clinics of the association’s Day Centres, people over 50 years old are examined aiming either towards preventative testing or the reliable detection of memory impairment and other cognitive functions
Evaluation of memory and cognitive functions (Neuropsychological testing)
The neuropsychological testing performed by psychologists at the regular outpatient clinics of the association’s Day Centres, is done through standardised tests and questionnaires to evaluate the cognitive, functional and emotional state of the examinee.
Additionally, the re-evaluation of patients at regular intervals allows to determine the progression of the deficiencies, the impact of the pharmacological treatment and the benefits of the non-pharmacological interventions.

Our Memory Clinics operate daily. To visit you are required to have priorly booked an appointment via telephone.
AIM:
Testing offers the ability to detect in advance cognitive deficiencies and to have a diagnosis in time. Additionally, it obtains the cognitive model of the examinee identifying abilities and weaknesses.
It assists in evaluating the stage of dementia, in identifying patients with reversible impairment and patients with impairment with a physiological explanation, in offering an objective measurement for evaluating the progress of the illness in time, in serving differential diagnostic hypotheses and in aiding the selection of treatment.
